Fornication

Howdy, it's Josh and today I'm going to handle a topic that is seen a lot in this present day. Now, bear with me because I'm afraid a lot of people my age and older have done this. I'm talking about fornication. Fornication is defined as "Voluntary sex between 2 unmarried persons." Let's start with a few verses of scripture and we'll go from there:


"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." I Corinthians 6:18-20

What this is saying is your body belongs to God and sex before marriage is a disgrace to God. It's like renting and trashing a condo. It doesn't belong to you and the real owner (God) will be displeased with a trashed condo (your body). If you're looking for a more straightforward reason to avoid fornication, read Galatians 6:19-21:

"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultary, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

This, my dear readers is why I want everyone to avoid fornication.

Okay its summer time now and josh and me are going to do something a little different for this summer.We are going to do a special thing we like to call Truth for Life.Its going to be a set of post,for most of the summer,about how the bible says to live,how to share the word of God,and how to prepare basically for school again as we defend our Faith.Well we hope you all like it and have a great summer.
